Went to Livingston today to see Alvin and the chipmonks,I also treated myself to a new purse from the Ness shop.

1st Anniversary

A year ago today I became a Stampin'Up! demonstrator and I have made lots of new friends along the way, I attended the Tartan stampers 1st mini convention last weekend in Glasgow, had a great weekend and met some more Stampin'Up! Demos. One of the events we took part in was a shoe box swap which was great fun as we got to make up lots of different projects so I have lots of fab new samples to share. Resonate, Alloa

Just now at Resonate there is a great exhibition on about text, and I have some cards displayed next to some cards from 38 years ago, The difference in styles is amazing here is a photo of some of my cards.



I forgot to take a photo of the old cards but will try to get one at some point.

Resonate is a great place and there is always lots going on there, I will be at Resonate next Saturday 27th August 2011 from 9.30am - 12.00pm and I will have lots of samples of cards and other papercraft items on display, there will be a free make and take and a free prize draw, Stampin'UP! products will be available to order on the day, payment by cash, cheque or credit/debit card. Would be great to see you there.

Happy Easter and some projects to show

Happy Easter to you all, Yesterday I went to the Tartan stampers training up in Aberdeen, first of all I would like to thank Dawn for giving me a lift from the train station and thanks also to Elaine who showed us 4 fabulous projects which we all made, it was great to meet up with fellow Stampin'Up! demo's and as usual we had a great time crafting and chatting.

Tartan Stampers mini catty blog hop

Last night I did a workshop for a good friend ( thanks Anne) we had a great time and I think everyone enjoyed it, we made a card using the Faux silk technique and the Stampin' Up! Hope you all had a great weekend, i went to a crop in Aberdeen on Saturday and had a fab time. Anyway on to my 1st SAB card, to make this card i used 2 of the Sale a bration sets, Sweet summer and Punch bunch, they are both lovely sets and are available as part of the SAB promotion which is running till the 28th Feb.

1st post for 2011

Hope you all had a nice New Year, we had a great time in Aberdeen, went to Union terrace to watch the fireworks at midnight and they were stunning, then on New Year's day we went to Watch AFC they were winning till the 5th minute of injury time then DUFC scored, oh well a point is better than none.
Back to work tomorrow, waiting on a delivery from stamping up! with another SAB stamp set which i hope will come tomorrow and i hope to start making some cards using the SAB stamps next week.
